Will High Pitch Deterrent Sound Machine Work on Groundhog?
One of the primary uses for the high pitch deterrent sound machine was primarily used on smaller rodents
such as mice. The machine essentially made them uncomfortable enough so that they moved on.
However, this machine has not shown to work on larger rodents such as groundhogs. The groundhog appears to
be invulnerable to most rodent eliminator. There is no fact that supports the theory that the machine works
against groundhogs.
The sound machine works on the principle of making a high pitch noise, one that cannot be heard outwardly but
can be heard as a high pitch sound. There are several different machines that serve different purposes.
The high pitch deterrent was once used as an anti teenage deterrent, however the courts determined that this purpose was illegal.
The sound machine is currently used on animals such as dogs. It works in the same fashion, as a dog whistle only the
scope of the machine is higher than the dog whistle.
There have been several attempts to eliminate the groundhog from the crops or the farms and the high pitch sound machine isn’t the machine to do it.
